Welcome to the very first posting of Dealership Stalking! After doing a few random posts already, I reached out to all of for your opinions on if this would be worthy of making into a semi-regular thing. After getting some positive feedback, I have decided to move forward with my idea. It started out of a common thing that my wife and I both enjoy doing, which is riding around the dealer lots (mostly at night to avoid the salespeople) to see what interesting things are available. Sometimes we are spoiled for choice and sometimes there is nothing of interest. Either way, maybe this will be something that some of you enjoy. For this first post, all of the pictures below are taken from dealerships in Jackson, MS. There is an exotic car dealer that opened not too long ago and I was excited to show my wife what they had. We were both in for quite a treat. Now, to the good stuff!
Lot’s of fun and colorful things in there, huh? Let’s have a closer look.
This is a lovely 2014 Dodge Viper, complete with a partial view of me. Gotta love reflections. Oh well. But what is that funk lime green thing lurking behind it? Well, I am glad you asked!
That would be a 2013 Maserati GranTurismo MC Sportline in Verde Ithaca. Or as I would like to call it, holy crap that is lime green!
Of course there is green, and then there is this thing. This is a 2014 Cayenne in Peridot Metallic. Whatever that is.....
Next we have a new Corvette Z06 with the Z07 package. I actually really like yellow on these cars. It’s a loud car, so it should have a loud color.
This was by far my (and my wife’s) favorite. A 2011 Bentley Continental Supersports convertible. Yes, it may not appeal to some of you, but I thought it was absolutely stunning in person.
I love the front end on these. The Ferrari doesn’t seem impressed though.... wait.... a Ferrari?!?!
Though white isn’t my favorite color on these, it’s still a nice 458. Oh and lookie there. A California. Several of you had a nice discussion on here the other day about these. The 458 is a 2015 and the California is a 2012.
Here’s a slightly better view. Well, of that banging desk and stool, at least. Now let’s move on to what else we found during our trip.
The Porsche dealer was a bit underwhelming this time. This row of beatles 911's were about the only thing of note.
Wow, the Smart sure has come a long way!
I really liked the color on this Charger Hellcat. My question is why did the dealer decide to leave this parked outside? It was the only one on the lot and the showroom had plenty of room to park it in there. Oh well. At least I didn’t have to take pictures through the window.
This one is a bit random compared to everything else, but when was the last time you saw an SRT Grand Cherokee?

Here we have a nice row of Jaaaaaaaaaaaaags. Oh and some random wagon lurking behind them that I am sure absolutely none of you care about. I mean, it’s just a wagon, right?
Oh wait. Ok, maybe I was a tad wrong. I shared this picture in somebody else’s post already, but nothing wrong with showing it again I suppose.
Oh look! It’s a brand new Land Rover Explorer Discovery!
Now I couldn’t possibly do an entire post and not have a picture of a BMW in it. I found this E93 M3 sitting off to the side. Pretty sure it is a customer’s car, but I couldn’t pass this one by. I mean, it is the same color as my car after all.
That wraps up my inaugural (and hopefully not only) episode of Dealership Stalking! What did you all think? I am open to any suggestions you all may have as to what I could add, change, or do differently. I like to keep things toward the lighter side, but any ideas are more than welcome. I haven’t really decided on a set day/time to have these posts and I may just keep it random for now due to my work schedule. Maybe if this is something that catches on I will make it more of a regular and set thing. Until next time, thanks for playing!

I was just thinking Jackson was way too much Old Money and not enough Nouveau Riche.
On a side note, here in Birmingham, I just heard from an in-law that the credit union where he works repo’d a Fisker Karma after the guy never made a payment. I desperately want to see it before they unceremoniously take it to auction and get half what it’s really worth.

I was quite surprised when I found out about that place. I worry it won’t stay open long, but we shall see.
That’s just sad. I guess Karma came back to get him in the end.

Really? Maybe it is a northern thing? I used to see one around town here every now and then, but haven’t in quite a while. Also this waa my first time seeing any that were not black.
